Albion's future is looking bleak with so many disillusioned people not knowing how to pick themselves up and move on, even after the glorious defeat of the Nightcrawler.
More crises are starting to befall upon Albion.
MARAUDERS: Even after Sergeant Saker had redeveloped his mercenary guild into a legitimate business, unaffilaited bandits, highwaymen & sellswords are forming their own gangs across the realm.
PIRATES: In spite of being isolated from the rest of the Kingdom due to Wraithmarsh, Bloodstone as a community has flourished. In this sea-rover haven, lawmen are as rare as hen's teeth. Organized and disorganized crime is the way of life in Bloodstone. Without Reaver to control this port-town, rogues and pirates are gathering forces to reclaim it for themselves.
GUILDS: Amid all of this are rumours of Shadow Temples, and an Assassin's Guild settling comfortably amongst the ruins of Albion's once healthy society. There has been talk of other guilds, both malicious and noble, slowly recruiting.
The Royal Family have no neighbours to rely on for help. Samarkand is too far away; the Court's troubled relationship with Aurora has yet to change for the better, and now trouble is brewing at Bloodstone.
What is to become of Albion..?
WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN US?
- Founded in October, 2010. We're a permanent, close-knit friendly group managed by experienced staff.
- Based on old school or traditional role-play ideals. We're all about collaborative storytelling.
- Open sandbox world: Develop & explore your characters at your own pace.
- Choose your own adventure! Quests, guilds, Action & Adventure, personal pursuits/motivations, mysteries/whodunnits, Slice-of-Life, dynamic character development, relationships, rivalries & allegiances, plus more. ICA=ICC.
- OOC plotting is kept minimal: we do not use plot-pages, and we encourage open-ended threads with no predetermined outcomes.
- We accept both Original Characters & Canon Characters. Absolutely no Mary Sues/Gary Stus are allowed. Original Heroes are not allowed, because of canon continuity.
- We do not consider Fable: The Journey or the tie-in novels by Peter David and Christie Golden to be canon.
- We have a NC-17 InsaneJournal hub, plus our PG-13 Jcink home. Don't worry - we have a simple navigation guide for newcomers!
- We encourage the distinct, adult side of the Fable franchise's humour - yet we do not tolerate childish, gag/crack humour.
- Historical research is required - but we do allow room for artistic license, to follow suit with Lionhead's own creative license for their pseudo-European fantasy world.
