Appearance
Slight little figure and alabaster complexion give off Annie's childish self quite accurately. A distant, far away look in her blue eyed doe orbs, the youngest of the Penrose children is always in a daydream. Gently set expressions are really the only thing to cross her face with a sweet, innocent smile to top it off. She is certainly what she appears to be; naive and dear to all those that greet her. Her soft like appearance tend to offer only kindness to all things. Her naive face is framed by wavy, dark blonde hair. It is often left down and free, tumbling around her shoulders. She likes to follow Elizabeth's examples, much to her mother's distaste, and prefers her hair to be free. Even without the influence of her sister, Annie simply prefers to have her little day dreams and chase the clouds in her head than get her hair styled as her mother would like.
Annie is certainly not as stylish as either of her sisters or her mother. Quite conservative with her clothing, her wardrobe mainly includes pastel colors and not as revealing dresses the style calls for. She certainly prefers to be comfortable, even though her mother makes her wear a corset. Due to her playing and dream like behavior, Annie also is unlikely to wear much jewelry unless her mother asks her to. Often, the young girl can be found with rips or stains in her attire. Losing jewelry seems to be her usual issue as well and so her mother allows her to go out without brandishing the family's obvious wealth; though her dresses certainly do enough.
personality
The youngest out of the four Penrose brood is the most gentle. Unlike her two older sisters, Annie is much more open to everything, and possesses nearly no judgmental thoughts at all. Quiet, and the pure essence of naïve, the young girl is quite vulnerable to all those malicious thoughts and actions. Almost in a dream like phase the majority of her time alone, Annie doesn’t prefer anything with company. She likes to spend her time with nearly anyone and anything. Of course, the blonde has her complications, essentially with her older sister, Kate, but otherwise, she is pretty much sweet and endearing to everything else.
The girl holds a bit of cluelessness to her when she meets someone new. Whether a wanted felon or a kind old lady, Annie tends to trust anything and everything in her wake. She is simple hearted, a person that can love unconditionally. Very close to her family, with the small exception of her rather cruel teasing sister Kate, Annie holds all dearly to her heart. While some people are leaders, the youngest sibling of the family is certainly a follower. Being the youngest definitely has had its helping in this, though Annie is certainly okay with it. She prefers to be cared for, as half the time, she is a bit unclear of what she is doing.
Still, despite her obvious lack of wits and sharp thinking, Annie is extremely creative. She can be found drawing, or simply creating her own little adventures. She is the easiest to get along with certainly and provides an unlimited amount of love and caring. Annie is unable to turn away from things that need care and rather her weakness is her strength. Due to her immense kind and care, she is most definitely the most vulnerable and weak out of the Penrose children. While she is sweet and accepting, Annie is sensitive and easy to get hurt. She can break easily into tears at the hurtful words from anyone, and is rather wary of her older sister Kate due to this. The girl does not understand the world is not filled with only kind and trusting people.
history
Born into the already built up household of the Penrose family, Annie was quite the sensitive baby from birth. Already bonding with everything and anything coming to pick her up and rock her, the angelic sense of the youngest child was quite apparent. Forever being the ‘baby of the family’, Annie soon grew to be the soft spot of her family with the small exception of her older sister Kate. Lady Frances was not as sweet and motherly as she was with the first baby at this time and Annie relied more on her older sister Elizabeth for guidance and love.
From nearly the time of her birth, Annie was soon given away to the care of governesses and grew to love each and every one of them. She grew close to nearly everyone she met and was a dear in the majority of people’s hearts. Being tutored along with the other children, she was not the best student with all her day dreaming and doodling, though she was certainly the easiest to keep calm. Her teachers grew only a bit frustrated with her, but were taken away by her sweet gestures and acts of kindness. She was a gentle child, a bit clueless, but nevertheless endearing.
Her relationship with her brother was built on the majority of companionship as he was only one year older than her and so she immediately felt close to him. The two were much easier going and gentle compared to the intense fighting going on with the older generation of Penrose children. When Edward went to boarding school, nine year old Annie was soon crying tears at the lack of time she could spend with him now. She soon also begged Elizabeth not go when her older sister begged her parents to go to boarding school as well.
Annie matured very little as she grew up, only moving her daydreams a bit away as she soon found a passion with art and horses. Lord Carmarthen soon had pictures of the big beasts around the houses, pasted up by clumsy ten year old hands. Still, the grand man could not grow angry at his youngest child. Annie held a certain weak spot in nearly everyone, though she didn’t realize it. Despite her father’s happiness with her, Lady Frances was quite annoyed with the girl the majority of the time. Her older sister Kate soon to grew to become quite cruel to Annie which caused the girl to shed quite a few tears.
The fear she held for Kate soon caused her to grow closer to Elizabeth at the common thoughts they both had for their sister. Still, Annie didn’t hate Kate, rather meekly moved out of her way whenever ever the older girl’s scorn searched for someone to be used on. An easy target, Annie grew to realize that the best thing was to hide behind Elizabeth or run to the stable to go draw or ride. With her mother, as she grew older, her relationship with Lady Frances became vaguer and nearly disappeared. While she loved her mother, Annie really knew nothing about her.
As she reached her twelfth year, Annie held a relationship with everyone in the house, and was nearly loved by everyone as well. She began to start paying attention in her tutoring classes in order to please her dearest father and her sister Elizabeth. Despite her mother’s growing concerns on how she looked and how she maintained her attire and hair, Annie finally wore things that were acceptable due to Elizabeth’s example. She was getting older and prettier, though her mother was far past really caring much about her anymore. Annie continued her passion in art, and horses, though when her father not so subtle attempts at finding a suitor for her sister came, she found it quite ridiculous.
Nowadays, Annie believes that her sister should go off on a romantic quest with a stable boy as she’s heard in the papers or stay home and live in Penrose house forever. Of course, she won’t tell her sister these things, but nevertheless the girl doesn’t want her sister to ever leave her alone with Kate. She spends her time making new friends, and drawing or riding. She is often found sitting in the hayloft, talking with the stable boys or attempting to ride a horse astride.

the youthful prince of spain had just made his flight over to the somewhat sunny country of aristocratic sense and desirable strolls through old buildings created by past monarchs. never purely in a place for pleasurable needs, andres was here on the unfortunate account of his father. indecision had come over him when he was asked a few days ago whether he would’ve liked to travel to france or not. still, he had not visited the country in quite some time and his dear españa was dragging him to boredom. he had decided in a very unorganized to way to come at the last second in which his poor maids speedily packed the boy’s items and sent him on his way. whether he was doomed to another imprisonment of boredom or more intriguing settings than the ones in spain, he had no knowledge of. either way, it was worth a try. the country of france would still hold a tiny amount of interest to him even if it proved as boring as his own country due to the fact he was in a different country.
andres stood at nearly a stoic stance in the presence of his father, waiting for him finally to give him whatever instructions he wanted him to do and then send him off independently on his way. the versailles had not changed since the last time he had traveled to france which had been nearly a year ago. despite this, andres felt a scent of excitement pricking ever so uncomfortably among his fingertips. he was excited to be in france, though by the annoyed stares and frequent whispers, he quickly realized the french weren’t exactly feeling the same way about him being there. still, andres held on a brave face and walked in his usual graceful fashion to his room till he finally was positive there was no one watching him. letting out the long awaited sigh, the nineteen year old boy sunk his rear end onto the comfortable bed, dark eyes already glancing out the shined windows. a sight of the famous paris caught his interest, the lights and building called adamantly to his curious mind.
pausing to make his decision, andres took a look at his easily identified expensive clothes. to get caught by his father would be quite the consequence itself, though the city simply begged him to come. finally, andres walked to his already set up drawers and shuffled the contents for something casual. victorious in his “great search”, the boy held up a gray hooded sweatshirt along with ruffed jeans he had begged his maids not to throw just yet. pulling them on in quick fashion, andres walked inconspicuously out the door, his forever roaming bodyguard intact. that would be okay. he never went anywhere without the large man anyway, and he had snuck out with him before. andres’s secret had never been uncovered. walking purposefully in large strides, the boy made it quickly to the edge of the gates where the guard let him out without delay. he was quite on a roll here, being surprisingly impulsive for his usual self. letting the thought go, andres asked politely for his car and he was off to paris.
driving slowly in that careful way of his, the boy parked well off the gates to paris because anyone could easily tell whoever owned a car was certainly royal. climbing out quickly, andres held the door for his bodyguard in a very vise versa way before the two discreetly entered. sights, sounds and smells entered into the boy’s careful senses. he had not snuck into the commons of france, though it appeared to have a bit of similarity to madrid. an impressive town by far, andres watched as most people shuffled passed him, barely giving the casual looking teenager and his “friend” a glance. except for the suspicious fruit vendors that were always found being paranoid about those “damn kids”. still, andres got around easy enough and after sightseeing for a few minutes, he retired himself at the large café. a long line awaited them, and despite his usual patience, all he longed for was a simple seat. andres looked quickly around for a booth, and then proceeded toward it.
